Coming soon Tapcount is not on the App Store or Google Play yet. This page describes the app that is being built.
Count without losing count
A tally counter that never loses your count.
One wrong tap, and the count is gone.
-
Tap anywhere on the bottom half
One hand, while the other one is busy. It will buzz on every count, so your eyes stay on what you are counting.
-
Undo will always be on screen
Never behind a menu, and it will say what it is about to undo before you press it. Press and hold to bring the count back.
-
Come back to it next week
Close the app, restart the phone, install an update. The count will be where you left it, and it will not stop at 9,999.
Counting will be the free part.
- No advertising, in any screen and in any version.
- No sign-in, no server, and it will work with the phone offline.
- As many counters as you want on one sheet, with names, steps and goals.
- One widget that works, so you will be able to see it working before deciding anything.
- What is free at launch stays free in later versions.
One payment, and that is all.
No renewal, no recurring charge, no trial that turns into one. Once bought, it will stay bought, on every device signed in to the same store.
- Widgets with no limit of number
- More than one sheet
- Export and import, in open formats
One charge, made by the store. In other countries the store will show the price of that market, taxes already included.
What you count will not.
- Sheet names, counter names and count values will stay in the phone storage. There will be no copy of them with us, because there is no server to keep one on.
- The app will send usage and crash reports to Google's Firebase, on servers in the United States. They will carry an identifier for the installation and details of the device, and never anything you typed.
- Those reports will start on. Turning them off will be one row in Settings, and the app behaves identically without them.
- No advertising identifier and no tracking across apps, ever.
