Frequent questions

I lost my count. Can I get it back?

Undo goes back step by step, and pressing and holding the undo control redoes what you undid. What the app cannot recover is a count from a device that was lost, reset or replaced: nothing is sent off the device, so there is no copy anywhere else. Exporting, which is part of Tapcount Pro, is the way to keep a copy elsewhere.

Do I need an account?

No. The app has no sign-in, no account and no server. Counting works with the device offline, from the first tap.

What does the purchase include?

Tapcount Pro is a one-time purchase. It adds widgets with no limit of number, more than one sheet, and export and import. It does not renew, it has no trial period and it does not expire. Restoring it on another device is done from the restore option in Settings.

Clause 8 of the Terms of Use

How do I get a refund?

The path depends on the store. On Google Play, ask on your orders page within 48 hours of the purchase; after that the request comes to us. On the App Store, refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple Support handles the cases that page turns down. Either way it is the store that decides, and we cannot issue the refund for you. Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code gives you 7 days from the purchase to withdraw from it, which is longer than the stores own windows, and to start that you write to contact@hernandestech.com. A refund undoes the purchase: the app returns to the free features, and the sheets beyond the first stay locked with their content inside. Nothing is erased, and support opens access for as long as it takes you to export what is in them.

I bought on Android. Do I have Pro on my iPhone too?

No. The purchase lives in the store account where it was made, and Google Play and the App Store do not exchange purchases with each other. Restoring works on your other devices signed in to the same store. Moving to the other platform means buying again, and there is no way for us to transfer it.

What does the app send, and how do I turn it off?

The app sends usage and crash reports to Google's Firebase. They carry an identifier for the installation and details of the device, and they never carry a sheet name, a counter name or a count value. They are on from the first launch and can be turned off under Settings, Usage and crash reports, and the app behaves identically with them off.

Section 5 of the Privacy Policy

How do I erase everything the app holds?

On Android: Settings, Apps, Tapcount, Storage, Clear storage. On iOS: deleting the app from the device. Removing a counter or a sheet inside the app does not erase it. To ask about the reports already sent, write to privacy@hernandestech.com.
